Mega Evolution Pokémon ex — These cards represent the return of “Mega Evolution” in the TCG. They are labeled with “Mega” in their name, e.g. Mega Lucario ex, Mega Gardevoir ex, etc.
High HP & Power — Compared to regular Pokémon-ex cards, Mega Evolution ex cards have increased HP and stronger attacks.
Three Prize Cards — If a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is knocked out, the opponent takes 3 Prize cards, which is more than the usual 2 for regular Pokémon ex.
Evolution Stage — Mega Evolution Pokémon ex may appear as Basic, Stage 1, or Stage 2 Pokémon, depending on the line, but they do not require an extra “mega evolution” step beyond evolving from the previous stage Pokémon-ex.
New Art Style and Ultra Rare Types — The expansion introduces ultra-rare items, Stadiums, and Pokémon Tools with rare variants, plus special art treatments. Some ultra rare cards featuring Mega Evolution ex may show the silhouette of the regular version of the Pokémon.
