GHOST OF YOTEI PLAYSTATION 5

Ghost of Yōtei is an upcoming action-adventure / role-playing game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. 

• It’s a standalone sequel (or spiritual successor) to Ghost of Tsushima, set about 300 years later.  
• The game launches October 2, 2025, exclusively on PS5 (with PS5 Pro enhancements).  
• You play as Atsu, a wandering mercenary haunted by her past. She seeks revenge on a gang known as the “Yōtei Six,” who murdered her family years ago.  
• The setting is 1603 Japan, in the northern region of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), around Mount Yōtei.  
• Gameplay blends stealth, sword combat, exploration, and non‐linear quest structure. You’ll use a variety of weapons (katanas, ōdachi, grappling hooks, etc.).  
• Returning and new features include Kurosawa Mode (a black-and-white cinematic filter), plus visual “modes” inspired by filmmakers like Takashi Miike and Shinichirō Watanabe.  
• A free “Legends” multiplayer mode (inspired by Ghost of Tsushima’s co-op mode) will be added in 2026, including survival matches and story missions.
